Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) plays a vital role in delivering primary healthcare services at the village and ward level in Andhra Pradesh. Working through government health institutions such as Wellness Centers (Sub-Centers) and Urban Health Clinics, the ANM focuses on maternal and child health, immunization programs, family welfare services, nutrition awareness, and disease prevention. By coordinating with ASHA workers, Anganwadi staff, and health departments, the ANM ensures timely healthcare support to women, infants, and the rural community, strengthening grassroots public health delivery.
